Donate to CYTS!
As CYTS is a public benevolent institution all donations over $2 are tax deductable. Your donations will assist CYTS to provide much needed support, education and accredited training services and resources to the most disadvantaged people in our community. Our clients have multi layered barriers to education that require services that do not attract government funding to meet their needs.
Payments may be made to Community and Youth Training Services by:
The Department of Training and Workforce Development requires mandatory student fees for funded courses. Some CYTS students experience financial hardship circumstances and are unable to pay fees which are required before certification can be issued. A sponsorship of as little as $130 can cover the cost of student fees enabling these students to receive their qualification on completion.
Some students do not meet the eligibility criteria to access funded courses. These students are required to pay full course fees to enrol and participate in accredited training that will assit them to gain mimimum education qualifications to access higher education and chosen career pathways. This may include returning to mainstream education. Many financially and educationally disadvantaged students do not have the capacity to pay full course fees to engage in education that will benefit their future. If you would like to fund one of these scholarship places then please contact CYTS for more details.
CYTS has serviced the most disadvantaged in the community for over 30 years and due to recent, immediate cessation of future government funding it now seeks assistance to raise funds to educate the 50 students currently on the waiting list. CYTS students are referred by a variety of government and community organisations that work with severely disadvantaged and dysfunctional youth. Students often present with an array of issues from low literacy and numeracy, learning difficulties, drug and alcohol use, domestic violence, homelessness, teenage parenting to mental and physical health issues.
